How to connect

Comprehensive guide on how to connect to our Server and download all neccessary files:

Account Creation

First, let's create an in-game account which is used to login to both the game and our website.

Please make sure to use a valid e-mail address to receive an account activation link.

If you have your own Game-Client

You can use any 3.3.5a Client to play on Frostmane! If you have your own client, simply modify your realmlist.wf:

- Assuming you have created your in-game account

- Navigate to your Game Client Folder

- Open your /Data/enUS or /Data/enGB folder

- Double click on realmlist.wtf and replace everything in that file with set realmlist logon.frostmane.net

- Open the game with Wow.exe and input your in-game account name.

If you do not have a Game Client, you can download it directly here:

Our Game Client has no custom modifications, it's recommended to use a clean Game Client for better performance.

We recommend downloading our Custom Patches. Frostmane is a Custom PVE Server.

Our Custom Patches include: Content from future expansions, retro-ported transmog, custom models, UI modifications.

To download our optional patches like Druid Artifacts, HD Characters, please join our Discord Server.

Important

If you have downloaded our Custom Patches, you don't need to change your realmlist (recommended)
Do not login using your email address. You must login using your in-game account name (username)
For your password, use something you can easily remember and does not exceed 16 characters long.
Do not use other server patches on Frostmane due to DBC conflicts.
